Starting A Club

All students are welcome and encouraged to start a club.

To start a club, a student needs to:

  • Find a staff member to advise the club.
  • Complete the Establishing a Club Form (below).
  • Develop a club constitution (below).
  • Submit the Establishing a Club Form and constitution to the ASB Advisor.
  • Attend an ASB meeting (held every Monday at lunch) and propose your new club (talk to the ASB advisory to get on the meeting agenda prior to the meeting).
  • ASB discusses and votes to approve your club.
  • If approved, your club enters a probationary period (see Article 20, Section 9 of the FHHS ASB Constitution).
  • Once your probationary period is over and legitimacy is demonstrated, your club will be officially recognized and have the right to raise/spend money.
