Substance Use Prevention & Intervention

Friday Harbor Student Assistance Program 

In partnership with the Northwest Educational Service Disrict 189, San Juan Island School District employs a Student Assistance Professional (SAP) who works to prevent youth substance use and helps students who want to reduce or quit their use. 

Services include:

• Individual Counseling
• Small-Group Counseling
• Classroom Lessons
• Implementing School-Wide Prevention Strategies
• Parent Consultation
• Referrals to Outside Resources
